Take The Bank Slot Review

The latest bank robbery themed slot comes from Betsoft Gaming, a developer with a lot of excellent games. They did it once again, turning a relatively common theme into a fun experience, one which offers a lot of potential combinations, but at the same time keeping the volatility on the medium side. Take the Bank will feature 5×3 reels, giving you 75 active lines in that standard game area. Even so, the most you can win from it is 225x total stake, which is the one thing that I found disappointing about it. It’s not very impressive there, but luckily we found a 96.08% RTP which tells us that the game does alright by its players. As for the important features that are included, they range from scatters, to free spins and wilds.

Betting and Prizes

The game’s bets will range from $0.20 to $20. You have eleven different bet values to choose from, within that range. Whatever bet is selected, you get all 75 lines active in exchange.

The rewards are the ones that will likely not convince you, not at 225x total stake. It’s a top payout of only $4,500, so while the slot doesn’t ask for big wagers, it doesn’t pay big prizes either.

With a Hit Rate of about 20.12%, and with Medium volatility, I’d expect for the game to be able to do better payout wise. Even with those low payouts, it’s still capable of paying back 96.08% to its players, over its entire life.

Take the Bank Slot Features

What I liked about the features that are included here, is that they’re not quite the ones from other slots. An example would be the opportunity to Detonate Wilds, which happens every 10 spins.

Take The Bank is considered a progression game, which you play in rounds of 10 spins. For each spin that you trigger, the Master Bomb Counter advances the countdown clock, from 10 to 0. Any Robber symbols that you get, will be collected and turned into bombs, which are transformed into wilds after the 10 spins.

As I’ve mentioned above, Robber icons are turned into Wild Bombs when they show up. They stick around, and then explode as the 10 rounds are over, for huge potential rewards. Once that happens, the wilds are cleared and there is another set of 10 spins that starts.

Wilds are used as replacements, working next to any regular symbols. The exceptions are the Robbers and the Police Cars. If you get five wilds to form their own combo, then they pay as much as the Diamond symbol would in the same position.

In order to access the slot’s 15 free spins, you are required to have three Police Cars scattered on the middle reels. The Countdown is put on pause then, after which you start the free spins. In this mode, you have 5 to 10 Epic Wilds on the reels, changing positions after each round.

Theme & Design

The bank robbery theme is nothing new, but it’s to be appreciated whenever a designer does a good job, even in a crowded category. Betsoft mostly did well here, using images of Robbers, Police Cars and Diamonds for feature and top jackpot symbols. The medium value icons show us gold bars, cash, vault doors, bombs and pry-bars. Once you get to the low value icons, you once again see Royals, the one thing that takes the game’s graphics down a notch or two.

Take the Bank does alright graphics wise, but while its RTP is at the right level, I’m not happy about its top payouts. On the plus side, I think you will love the unique features that it incorporates.
